The official confirmed the death of a man and a woman in Warwick Allerton hotel was a murder-suicide. 

Amy Bustos and Husam Haddad were involved in the Magnificent Mile, Warwick Allerton Hotel shooting, where both died. The victim died in the hospital, whereas the guilty committed suicide after shooting the casualty. 

Question Rises What Happened To Amy Bustos As She Was Involved In Warwick Allerton Hotel Shooting?

Amy Bustos, 21, is identified as the victim of the shooting in the Warwick Allerton Hotel in Chicago. She was in critical condition after getting shot in the head. She was rushed to the Northwestern Memorial Hospital and later pronounced dead.

She was found in the northeast corner of the intersection with Michigan Avenue on the 17th floor. According to the police, three bullet holes got discovered in the hallway.

However, besides her, a man’s body was also found on the 18th floor of the hotel. He was identified as the Husam Haddad, 25, by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office. The official confirmed it was a case of murder and suicide. 

According to CBS News, a hotel guest Beni Rincon heard the sound of gunfire and thought someone was messing around by slamming doors or so. But a few minutes later, when he opened the room after hearing security outside, he was shocked to see the shooting victim in front of him.

Update On Warwick Allerton Hotel Shooting – Was The Shooter Husam Haddad, Amy Bustos Husband? 

There are rumors that Amy Bustos, a victim and shooter Husam Haddad from the Warwick Allerton Hotel shooting as husband and wife. However, we think it might not be true, although the case was of murder and suicide.  

People might have suspected them to be a couple as Husam first shot Amy on the 17th floor and later committed suicide by shooting himself on the 18th floor of the same building.

He might have thought he killed her after firing a gun in her head, but she was still alive in critical condition and got transported to the hospital, where she later died. Thus, we believe they might have known each other but were not wife and husband as the police or credible source provides no proof.

Amy Bustos’s murderer is rumored to be her husband, who committed suicide just a floor above where she was shot and left to die. The culprit killed himself by shooting himself in the head. The Fire Department confirmed he claimed his own life.
