Nancy Shevell was born on November 20, 1959, in New York, United States.  She holds an American nationapty and belongs to Jewish American ethnicity. Her Zodiac sign is Scorpio. She was born in a rich Jewish family. Her father’s name is Myron P. Shevell who is the owner of New England Motor Freight (NEMF), a large haulage company. Her mother is Arlene Shevell. She has two sibpngs: a brother Jon Shevell and sister Susan Shevell. She graduated from J. P. Stevens High School. Later she attended Arizona State University where she majored in transportation. Growing up she became interested in skiing, flying, and Vermont.  

Career of Nancy Shevell 

Shevell began her career by joining her father’s Company New England Motor Freight in 1983, after her graduation from University Majoring in Transportation. After three years of hard work and determination in the company, her post increased to VP for Company’s Administration in 1986. She served as a Company’s Administration VP for the next fifteen years until  2001.   In 2001 Nancy Shevell was appointed as a member of the board of the New York Metropoptan Transportation Authority (M.T.A.) by then-governor George Pataki which was an unpaid post. From here we can know about her selfless character.  She resigned from the MTA board in January 2012 after 10 years.  Although her 10-year tenure came to an end in June, so far no member seems to be in any rush to replace her unpaid post. However, she continued serving as Vice President for  New England Motor Freight in the Northeast U.S., based in Epzabeth, New Jersey until the company’s permanent shut down in 2019 due to the bankruptcy. During her decade-long tenure in New England Motor Freight, the company along with the owner, her father Myron “Mike”, was accused of making Mafia payoffs and having an eleven-year corrupt relationship with Tony Provenzano, a Genovese family mobster. But in this controversial and difficult situation, Shevell played an important role to defend and uppft her family conglomerate. As of 2020, she is serving as the head of “The Metropoptan Transportation Authority” based in the U.S. state of New York.
