Harold Varner III is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. Varner turned professional in 2012. He started playing on the Web.com Tour in 2014. Prior to playing on the Web.com Tour, he played on the eGolf Tour and Florida Tour.

In 2015, he finished 25th on the Web.com Tour regular season money list to earn a PGA Tour card for the 2015–16 season. Varner is the first African American golfer to advance to the PGA Tour via the Web.com Tour.

In December 2016, Varner earned his first professional golf victory at the Australian PGA Championship, a tournament co-sanctioned by the PGA Tour of Australasia and the European Tour. He is only the second American to win the Australian PGA Championship and the first since Hale Irwin won it in 1978. He also became the third black man to win on the European Tour after Vincent Tshabalala of South Africa and Tiger Woods.

In February 2022, Varner won the PIF Saudi International on the Asian Tour.

Varner played college golf at East Carolina University, where he was the first player in school history to be named Conference USA player of the year in 2012. He was a three-time All-Conference USA selection (2011-12 first-team, 2010 second-team), two-time Golf Coaches Association of America All-East Region player (2010-11) and five-time Conference USA Golfer-of-the-Week.

Varner participated in three NCAA regional tournament. He finished runner-up as an individual at the 2007 and the 2008 North Carolina 3A state championships, while leading his team to a second place finish in both of those seasons.
