Chinedu Ikedieze, MFR (born 12 December 1977), is a versatile Nigerian actor, entrepreneur, and serial investor also addressed as Aki.
He is best known for playing alongside Osita Iheme in the majority of the movies after their breakthrough as a duo in the 2002 film Aki na Ukwa.
He has featured in over 150 films spanning more than 20 decades. He has acted in the role of a kid in most of his films during his early career due to his stature and physical appearance.
Chinedu Ikedieze is known as Aki for his performance in the movie Aki na Ukwa. In 2011, he married fashion designer Nneoma Nwaijah, and the couple had their first child in 2012.

Early Life & Education
Chinedu Ikedieze was born on the 12th of December, 1977 in Amaeke Arochukwu, Abia State, Nigeria. His parents are Mr & Mrs. Michael Ikedieze Ogbonna, both of the Igbo tribes of Nigeria.
Chinedu Ikedieze pursued his primary and secondary education in Aba, Abia State. After completing his secondary education, he pursued a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Theatre Arts and a degree in Mass communication from the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu (IMT).
After completing his studies at IMT, he initially wanted to become a lawyer but pursued his career in film acting in 1998 and initially featured in small roles. He first performed in a minor role in the 1998 film Evil Men. He enrolled in the prestigious New York Film Academy in 2004.
Career
Chinedu Ikedieze entered the Nollywood industry in 2000 and rose to prominence in the 2002 film Aki na Ukwa, where he played the breakthrough role of Aki alongside another little person, actor Osita Iheme.
The duo was popularly called “Aki and Paw Paw” since the film’s release, and they featured together in several movies in the lead roles. Both Chinedu Ikedieze and Osita Iheme have maintained onscreen and offscreen chemistry, widely praised by the Nollywood fraternity.
Subsequently, Chinedu Ikedieze became a widely sought actor in Nigerian for comic roles, which landed him on the list of Top 10 Funniest Nollywood Actors of All Time. At first, he was assigned to feature as a child in many of his movies, but he took the bold leap into adult characters. So far, he has featured in more than 100 movies and currently working on the television series titled The Johnson.
Chinedu Ikedieze said celebrities are meant to be flashy because it’s part of the showbiz, talking about his rise to stardom and how an actor can sustain the status quo. According to him, maintaining a celebrity requires being true to yourself and not trying to live the same lifestyle as in movies, especially if you can’t afford it.

Personal Life
Chinedu Ikedieze got married to his lovely wife Nneoma Ikedieze in Lagos on November 26, 2011. It was a grand ceremony that hosted distinguished guests, including several movie stars, among top politicians and the Governor of Abia State.
The couple reportedly met in Lagos during a movie production; Nneoma Ikedieze was the costume director. Working together sparked some friendship that transcended to intimacy. On November 26, 2011, their traditional wedding was at his wife’s hometown Isala Mbano, Imo State.
A couple of years into the marriage, the couple seemed happy and were spotted on vacation to Paris, France. Despite rumors of divorce as fake media has propagated, Chinedu Ikedieze said there was nothing like that.
Although the marriage has not produced offspring yet, the prospect of having children is also a priority.

Awards
In 2007, Chinedu Ikedieze received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the African Movie Academy Awards. He was also honored with the Order of the Federal Republic, which the then Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan gave for his contributions to Nollywood and the country’s economic growth.
In 2018, he was honored in Miami, Florida, in the United States of America as a distinguished visitor to Miami, Florida. In appreciation, he said, “From the bottom of my heart, I say thank you to Miami-Dade, country office of the Mayor and the county commissioners for honoring me as a distinguished visitor to the city of Miami, Florida. You have just given me a key to more success in life. He, therefore, encouraged all to believe if themselves if the world believes in them.
Legacy
Chinedu Ikedieze‘s performance alongside fellow little person actor Osita Iheme in the 2002 film Aki na Ukwa is still widely spoken. The duo, wildly Osita Iheme‘s character, has been trending through memes since 2019 on Twitter and other social media platforms globally.
