Silvestri began his film/television composing profession in 1972 at age 21 composing the score for the low-spending action film The Doberman Gang. From 1977 to 1983, Silvestri filled in as the primary composer for the television arrangement CHiPs, composing music for 95 of the arrangement’s 139 scenes.
