Early Life

Adesua Etomi was born to Edo parents, Mr and Mrs Etomi, in the city of Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria. Her father is an Ishan man, while her mother, Eniiwaju Etomi hails from the Yoruba ethnic group.

She arrived in the world on the 22nd Of February 1988. Her father worked as a soldier before his death, while her mother was an engineer and pastor.

Adesua Etomi‘s Yoruba name is Tolulope. She has two older siblings, Tosin Etomi and Temitayo Etomi and is the last child of the family. She and her siblings were raised by her mother after their father’s death. She spent her formative years in Owerri before moving down to Lagos State with the rest of the family.

Adesua Etomi was raised up as Christian and still adheres to the faith till today. She picked up interest in acting right from her primary school, where she was a member of the drama society and played lead roles in different drama shows. She continued with this feat when she gained admission into secondary school.
